One would have got Harriet's, the other the non taken Top 20 MDWC. So at least 7 Brit's in the draw, and maybe the hope for a qualifier, given the surface advantages. Stull fully invested in RG, but looking forward to this getting underway tomorrow.
Just one round of Qualifying, so here are all the matches

Didn't realise it was just one round of quals. Maybe we can get a couple through (looking more towards Tara and Sam). Tara played Sam's opponent here in 2019, with the Italian retiring in the first set.
Doubles draw is 16 pairs. Our pairs for Wimbledon are almost certain to be taking part, given that five of the six below are playing singles (the sixth is Beth who has been practising on grass)
Heather/Harriet
Eden/Tara
SBG/EWS
Tara should win, and I'd back Sam heavily on this surface if she had more tennis in her legs. Gasanova has no grass experience but is talented enough and hits a big enough ball I think she'll have too much unless Em can serve well and carve her up with the slices.
I'd be surprised if the doubles wildcard went to anyone other than a Heather/Harriet pairing to be honest. I think the others will struggle to be in the 3 highest ranked pairs entering on site (where you can use best of singles and doubles), none made it into the advance automatic entries list and would need a few more withdrawals before noon Sunday to get in as alternates. I think they will all feature in the 100k next week as the higher ranked players move on to Birmingham.
Delighted to see Emma back. In at the deep end for her first match back but good to see where her level is at.

Me too. She wasn't on my Nottm WC radar at all for some strange reason (even though I know she has at least got a few matches under her belt). I'll definitely try and make it a priority to catch her R1 match, and a chance for her to stake her claim for a Wimbledon MDWC
Not sure what Katie S is up to, no clues on Instgram. Not seen since that Bjorklund match in early-mid May. Presumably not fit enough yet, but hopefully she will at least be on the scene nearer Wimbledon time.
Qualifying matches available to watch on Unibet (and subsequent dodgy streams). There's obviously been flashes with the U16 Jr events, but it will be so good to actually see some grass court tennis again, and plenty of British interest too of course.
