Cam was one withdrawal away from main draw.

And Broady was one withdrawal away from qualifying

 I assume Broady has travelled there on the off chance.

 Stuart Fraser

@stu_fraser

Andy Murray will travel to Rome tomorrow for a week of practice (including a hit with Novak Djokovic) before making a comeback in Geneva or Lyon. And news also on the coaching front as Mark Petchey returns to Team Murray initially on a casual basis. More to follow on

Interesting and he obviously, therefore, plans to play RG, presumably? Why play geneva or lyon if not RG?

Good to see Petch back!

be interesting to see which he chooses, geneva or Lyon? Lyon has the stronger entry, 6 top 20 versus 2 at Geneva; the Brits in Dan and Cam are likely to be in Lyon (Dan is and Cam entered qualies although is alt 1 in both); but Fed is in Geneva; depends if anyone is offering Andy money to play, presumably Lyon would want him more as their entry is strong but doesnt have a Federer in it...

I see RG are waiting to see how he goes before offering a WC - presuming they will if he holds up and competes well enough

 Annoyingly there has been a withdrawal this morning but Gaio who was one behind Liam in the Entry list ranking gets in as its an on site Alt and therefore done with current ranking not entry ranking.

 Sadly  bit of a lesson there for Liam. I understand his point about not making progress at Challenger level points wise but now he has lost out because he wasn't playing anything.

ETA No doubt the same thougt has crossed his mind, something for younger players to learn from.

If he is looking to practise with the best, wouldn't he be better off training with Mr Evans?
