Harriet, Fran, and Sam in RG quals this week. Jodie currently 13 out, Katie S current 21 out.

There will likely be 4 French players receiving MDWCs above them in the pecking order, and maybe an Aussie and an American, if they bring the reciprocal agreement back this time, so Jodie probably has a reasonable chance of making it if she stays on the list.

Indeed, missed that - do we think that is just automatic entry or that he is actually planning on playing? and would he aim at a WC if he is playing?

So the qualies list is out, based on rankings 5 weeks before the start of the main draw, essentially the original due date before RG was put back a week.

No chance for Katie B without her PR?

How likely that Sam plays given she hasn't been seen or heard of for months? (Injured? Not travelling due to covid? - anyone know?)

Nope she is about 60 out.  IF Charlottesville had been a week earlier and IF she got to the Semi possibly even just the QF then she would've made the cut. Shows how detrimental it has been having so few WTA tournaments in this bracket recently.

Her husband has been playing doubles across Europe, albeit he cant buy a win it seems, but nonetheless hes played a reasonable number of events . Eg Munich this week. Presumably Sam would be travelling with him?

Wasn't she supposed to be playing a team tournament in India soon?

Looking at the acceptance lists, this appears to be the week we see a lot of players back on the tour, Ryan James Storrie, Billy Harris, Anton Matusevich and others entered, hopefully most of them will stay on the lists and not withdraw.
