Surprisingly, the match has only lasted one and a half hours for the first two sets. 5-5*
Also surprisingly, there have been five love holds in the final set, and only one game has gone to deuce.

Possibly influenced by Amanda's marathon matches, but the Italian was a pretty big pre match favourite. Amanda was over 2/1 or 3.00 at most betting sites, despite the ranking difference.

The 20 year old opponent has been a winning machine this year as well, 34 wins in her 40 matches, all at this venue.

A shame though because this is the lowest ranking level, and Amanda has had decent runs in bigger events in the not too distant past, and she's not even got the points equivalent of one W25 win for her efforts this week.
