Convincing win although Bega doesnt appear to have been in the best form this year.

Worth noting that Dominic Stricker is 18, was ranked JWR 3, and was the winner last autumn of Roland Garros Juniors (he won easily, playing really impressively).

He's the clear bookies' favourite here, despite the difference in ranking.

Which I think is maybe a little over negative on Jay !

Or maybe not...... :(

As Stricker is creaming the ball

Allez, Jay

Young gun, Stricker, played a super set (as said back in RG juniors, he really stands head and shoulder above most of the others - I'm a big fan)

BUT youngsters often come out, all guns blazing, but have trouble keeping it going.

Jay's got to play well at the start of the second and try and force the wobble....

Well, the second set was closer.

No break until right at the end.

And Jay had a few break points.

But the young Swiss powered his served down and did a lot of damage.

And Jay lost 4-6 4-6
