Lots of Brits entered Florida event but the likes of Boulter and Carreras are well down the list. At least Harriet is back this week.

CHALLENGERS

Nur-Sultan 1 $100K (Indoor Hard) - Broady

Gran Caneria 1 $80K (Clay) - Clarke

Appears to be the other way around Liam in Gran Canaria and Jay in Nur-Sultan. Which coming from South Africa will be interesting to see if Broady can get into Gran Canaria. Hopefully not another France situation for him. Think the non EU tournaments are probably safer bets for being allowed in at the moment.

Jones, Bains and Swan currently in Q7,8 and 9 respectively. Jones and Boulter entered for both Boca Raton and Poitiers, waiting for withdrawals before picking which to play?

The withdrawal deadline is today, so once the computer has done the automatic withdrawals all will become clearer.

Boulter was also down for the Moscow 25k too but withdrew yesterday so I would assume that she is relatively confident that she will get in one of the 2 remaining tournaments.

ETA to qualify by right into Wimbledon MD she needs circa 600 more points in 4 months, not easy at any time but particularly tough right now as there is no easy ride at the moment.  Arantxa Rus managed to get into the top 100 by winning a load of 25k but the standard would've been a lot lower at the tail end of 2019.

 How do automatic withdrawals work?
