Andy is out of the AO

Murray: Gutted to share that I wont be flying out to Australia. Weve been in constant dialogue with Tennis Australia to try and find a solution which would allow some form of workable quarantine, but we couldnt make it work.

Going by Liams socials looks like he might be trying to sign in next week for South Africa. Think Ryan Peniston might be with him.

There is a travel ban from South Africa to uk. Should our guys be playing there, morally as well as legally. Doesnt feel right to me...

I don't have an issue with it personally. This is their job so they are allowed to travel. Also South Africa is another of the few countries that are doing a lot of genome sequencing so they will, like us, discover more than their fair share of new variants regardless of where they originate from.

He didnt enter qualifying (presumably because he thought he was playing Cherbourg). So unless they give him a wildcard he won't be playing next week (maybe doubles?)

He posted on his Instagram story the other day showing he was in the UK. The entry for Antalya appears to be getting harder the next few weeks. He's been on the road about 3 months now. Probably wise to rest up/do a pre season and then play the UK Pro Circuit in March if it is on then after that the entry lists might not be so harsh for the ITFs as hopefully come Spring more tournaments might be on.

Will she have to quarantine in a hotel when she comes back?
