How tennis saved Sam Jalloh's life...

Hello hello

I'm a newbie - hope all is good with you.

I'm a full time tennis coach in a village near Derby - I can't work during lockdown so have really focused in on podcasting to keep positive!

Last week I spoke to a remarkable man called Sam Jalloh. Sam grew up in Sierra Leone during the Civil War - he went through incredibly tough times but tennis was a positive force that kept him going in his quest to represent his nation.

Sam has written a book called How Tennis Saved My Life and he was recently named a BBC Inspirations Award Winner for 2020.

If you have a little while, I'd love it if you'd have a listen to Sam's story, you can do that right here: www.smarturl.com/mytennisjourney

Cheers

Rob

PS As you'll hear, Sam is a big fan of Andy Murray!
