Yep, putting it up here. As each month progresses, lets use this thread for nominees etc. 

on that front, January 2021 month will close 31st January. But I am very conscious we have play this week that may throw up some worthwhile candidates , so if someone catches your eye this week, please put their name here as a January 2021 nomination.

Just to comment, play from this week on will count to January, so Battle of the Brits, British Tour Masters etc all count.

With Arthur Fery and Emma Raducanu winning the British Tour Masters and Jack Draper, Anton Matusevich (also ru in British tour masters) and Dan Evans and Heather Watson and Eden Silva and Emma again looking like winning the Battle of the Brits Premier League, will any of them get an early nomination pre Xmas for January player of the month 2021 - this weeks play will all count.

For anyone unfamiliar, just nominate in this thread and Ill keep a track. This first month will run to Sunday 31st January and we will then hold a poll. Events in the period will include a number of ATP and WTA events, some Atp challengers and itf events are also scheduled and the AO qualifying in mid January.

Anyone can nominate any player so long as they give a reason. It can be for a one off event or performance or for a series over the month.

Anton Matusevich has been crowned Mens Champion in the BOTB event, in which he was competing against Murray, Evans, Norrie, Draper, Broady, Ward, Clarke.

I think that is worth an early nomination for the January POTM award. Get him on the list Jon and lets get the ball rolling for 2021. Let it be a better year than 2020.

 Just Anton so far, then, but atp and wta action kicks off next week and week after before AO qualies, so plenty to get into , as well as itf action. Expecting a very interesting few months ahead.
