A shame about Lissey and Olivia but I presume the doubles was always their primary focus.

Main draw out now as well. Both Fran and Amanda play top youngsters. Fran plays Eala who is very much a jr. Amanda plays Diane Parry who is currently on an 8 match losing streak since that Portugal W15 clay event which was one of the first events back (albeit some of them tough matches).

Doubles - could be a tough draw, but Ce is 1-4 since the return, whilst Perrin reached the SF in Orlando last week in her only match since the return

L16:- Alicia Barnett (GBR) / Olivia Nicholls (GBR) CR647 (325+322) v Gabriela Ce (BRA) / Conny Perrin (SUI) CR481 (235+246) [3]

Crazy. She was *4-1 up, but TEN breaks in the set to take it to the TB. Katie is a mini break up (was 2), but doesn't seem to count for much.

Made it over the line 7-4. Serve isn't working well today, which surprises me.

Q3: BOULTER, Katie (GBR) 2 365/1490 lost to SELEKHMETEVA, Oksana (RUS) 692/952 7-6 6-7 [5-10]

R1: CARRERAS, Amanda (GBR) 338/70 (CH=236/25 2017) v PARRY, Diane (FRA) JE 305/1520 (CH=297/1460 2020) {18yo JCH=1}
R1: JONES, Francesca (GBR) 8 241/1202 (CH=241/28 2020) v EALA, Alexandra (PHI) WC UNR/1620 (CH=UNR/1594 2020) {15yo JCH=2}

So Katie goes out to a good junior and Amanda and Francesca get two more.
