(*) Interesting:  I see Donski was born in Philly, actually lives in Sofia & is coach by Partick (sic) Sebastiani!

I wouldn't be surprised to see Ken & Jonny team up next year. Good friends and right next to each other in the rankings.

Jamie and neal on at 12 noon, starting their outside challenge , for the o2.

Jonny and ken 3rd on centre versus their Bulgarian opponents.

Erv and Melzer not on today. If jamie and neal lose, what the betting erv and Melzer pull out.

So Melzer/Roger-Vasselin reaching the final here would cement their place, in London, from what I can work out. Semi-final is the most they can reach with Jamie/Neal having a chance. Any win for Melzer-Vasselin here results in Jmaie/Neal needing to win the title.

 That is a bit closer than I would have liked!! Not giving me inspiration they aregoing to get this thing done but at least they are through a round

The draw for o2 is this thursday apparently. But...melzer and erv are currently 8th, but a title could move them to 6th and a different seeding bracket...not sure how they will format the draw with that element unknown?

We don't have a singles thread for this event so just a little shout out for Jonas Foretjek, born 2001, the 2019 US Open Juniors champion who got a wildcard into the MD when a Bulgarian player tested positive, and then beat Cilic in two easy sets - PS you've got to feel sorry for the Bulgarian, you get a wildcard into your home country's event, the thing you've been needing/wanting/looking forward to, and then test positive just before .... :(
