Not sure if anyone has followed this years grand tours, but the Giro provided an amazing climax and a wonderful British winner. Tao Geoghegan-Hart has a great back story, wish we could see this in tennis. Hackney boy makes good. I know some have it in for Team Sky/INEOS but hats off to them, they unearthed this guy from nowhere really, it is very much like someone coming out of the Blue from qualies and winning the US Open or some such!
To be fair he has been around a while, but the talent on the team means his profile was not highlighted.
I really enjoyed the Giro this year. Granted, it was missing the big names from the tour de France, but it was exciting.
Kilderman losing his jacket was the turning point.
