Good luck to all the British girls in this tournament.
Its so tough for the girls to try and break through at this level as it cant be easy or cheap travelling to another continent for a 15k.
Unless your family have a good enough bank balance it would be hard not to feel the pressure of coming home without improving your ranking after Travelling all that way. This is one of the main problems for the British girls. They dont have any 15ks in their own country where they could play with less pressure and expense and still focus on doing the right things in matches to carry on developing their game and not just going for the quick win for A measly point.
Good look girls
NO FEAR!

48 player Q draw for a W15 here, yet in nearby Tunisia, the hard court W15 q draw only has 6 players, all with byes:

www.itftennis.com/en/tournament/w15-monastir/tun/2020/w-itf-tun-34a-2020/draws-and-results/

There's a whole string of successive events there as well.

Very tough to make progress. Not only do they have to win through three qualifying rounds this week, but also have to win a main draw match just to get a single point.
I really hope that one day the LTA will see the light and start running some 15k's to help our girls on the way up.

What a super result for young Jasmine - I've been following her closely for a 18 months now and she's been making excellent progress. A top-1000 win, though, is really quite special

Interesting draw for Jasmine as well - close in ranking, although Sophie is three years older.

All three FQR matches with GB interest playing at the same time.
