That's really good money if I'm reading it correctly. I'm on the wrong section here, but you'd get $4,886 for being a runner up in a W60 event this year, or $3,935 for winning a W25 event, and looking at the women's week 1 field of 12, Jodie would probably be the only one capable of doing that sort of thing these days. Naomi has obviously seen bigger paydays than that in the past, albeit a fair while ago, and I think Eden and Lissey have both made random W25 semi finals at some point over the past few years ($1,162 this year), but outside of grass WCs, the field is generally a long way away from this sort of money for a normal tour event.
So, I'm assuming 1 of the 12 women and 1 of the 12 men are guaranteed to take $5,000 each by the week 1 conclusion on Sunday?

I read the article about Maia in that Scottish (online) newspaper the other day saying she was a bit behind the English girls (due to the different guidelines) so was targeting the British Tour event on Friday to get her up to speed in time for the Progress event next Tuesday, but I'd have thought Sam would have rather competed in this than the Tier 1 BT event. Lily is also playing the BT event again, but perhaps she might not have been eligible for this UK Pro Series event? All three of those have won W25 events in the past 18 months or so, with the latter two both winning one on Sunday 8th March and the final completed events before lockdown.
No, I don't have an instagram account and can't even access the Julian Cash story (which I'd very much like to read, if it's possible to cut and paste it somewhere here - but it might be against Instagram rules or whatever so no problem if not)
I'm basing this off Bet365 which has all the matches listed and with their start times (and that they're all livestreamed)

Jon, there's no risk - you can access the order of plays etc even without an account
It's all publicly available
And you obviously can't bet without an account (which is not that easy to set up)
So, to be honest, it's a useful source and no risk (unless you think you might get sucked into setting up an account which is obviously a problem and means it should be avoided)
ADD: just to be clear, I'm not encouraging people to use Bet365 ! And if people know it's too tempting - avoid !!!! Just saying that the info can be accessed without an account.

I just try and stay well clear! I have only bet once in my life, on the Ascot Gold Cup (in around 1991!) card , went to ladies day. Took a 100 with me, got up to 250 at end of gold cup, there was 1 race left and the stupid person in me put the whole lot on a horse to win...lost the lot. Would have won around 3000 if it had come home, but it didnt.
When I realised I had lost the £250 I realised betting and me would never mix and I just try and stay well clear - although we get lottery scratch cards as a family thing for birthdays or the like!
