Who will win the Battle of the Brits - Doubles

Wondering who we all think will take this event in a week or two:

Listed in draw order - 1-3 are in Paul Hutchins, 4-6 in Cathie Sabin.

Cross over semis and a final.

Edited to remove the reference to the poll, as it's now closed.

POLL - Who will win the Battle of the Brits - Doubles

Hard to know where the pairs will be at in terms of prep. Jamie and Neal v Dan and Lloyd looks a tasty group match, my feeling is Joe and Jonny will gel well and I fancy them as favourites to win it over Jamie/Neal or, possibly, Dan/Lloyd.

I've gone for Jamie & Neal but the Joe & Jonny partnership certainly looks to have potential, though is no doubt just for convenience just now.

Gone for Jamie/Neal, mainly because all the others are scratch pairs. But this is doubles. Anything could happen.

Not quite sure just anything could happen Jaggy, I mean Bob

Jaggy is another who has been missing ( last signed in on 08/04 ). Hopefully he is well and just been having a break while tennis has been on a break.

I'm hoping for Dan and Lloyd or Kyle and Jack but reckon it'll be Joe and Johnny :).

I'm actually looking forward to this and am hoping Jack Draper can learn a thing or 2 from Kyle lol, likewise Jay learning from Dom the bomb :D.

Joe and Jonny or Jamie and neal seem to be most folks tips. A vote in for Kyle and jack, the fearhands , and Dom and Jay who are a very interesting pair to see how they go.

This event starts in a week but most folks voting have probably done so. It looks like we favour Joe and Jonny to win this as follows:

Joe Salisbury and Jonny O'Mara 61.1%
Jamie Murray and Neal Skupski 27.8%
Jack Draper and Kyle Edmund 5.6%
Dom Inglot and Jay Clarke 5.6%

Be interesting to see if the younger pair can beat the established pair here or if a surprise package comes to the fore.

With the event starting today, I declare this poll closed!

Votes are spread but it looks like Joe and Jonny have over half and are clear favourites of this board. Lets see what happens

A bit of turn-up for the books in the opening rubber:

RR1:  Liam Broady & Cameron Norrie defeated Jamie Murray & Neal Skupski by 3-6 7-5 [11-9]  smile  cry
