OK. So about 30 years ago, I was playing cricket against Wimbledon CC. It was Wimbledon week and so the area was very busy. At the bottom end of the cricket ground there were some grass courts that were being used by the players for practice. One of those practicing that day was Gabriella Sabatini.
I was skippering the side and my experience as a captain was that it was always difficult to get players to field on the boundary - except that day. As Sabatini walked over and started practicing, I suddenly had 10 volunteers to field at deep backward square leg, right by the practice courts.

So my vote has gone for Gabriela.
She is still a beautiful lady from recent photos I have seen of her, and her game was also ahead of its era, top spin and single handed backhand
As probably is well documented Pam Shriver reached the 1978 US Singles final as a 16 year old and I think she was an amateur at the time. (Can't imagine this happening these days) That was her one and only Grand Slam singles final and her 8 semi final defeats were to the likes of Steffi, Chrissie, Martina and Hana. That might explain why she never reached another final.
Dementieva and Myskina now tied in 3rd here, one of two groups currently in a tie. Interestingly , these two played 15 times in their careers, one of the few match ups at this stage - Myskina held a 9-6 lead over her compatriot.
