John Lloyd for me here, he was always my favourite Brit when growing up, 1977 Australian Open was part of it, 1981 Wimbledon when I saw him beat Phil Dent was the main thing. Lloydy beating Dent and then Mac beating Gullikson (Pits of the world), my best day watching tennis live!

Remains Tim for me although I remember my wife to be shouting that he was rubbish during a Davis cup match on the old No 1 court at Wimbledon against Egypt in the 90s! This was quite an early date (surprising we were at tennis in the first place) so we did well to make it as I was a big fan of his throughout his playing career. To be fair he was playing badly at the time and he ended up winning!!

Tim almost certainly through from this group. Maybe 4 or 5 votes still available for the others to emerge from the ensuing pack.

Cant believe John Lloyd and Mark Cox went out, boy. The De Mendoza vote surprises me , dark horse!

I voted for John Lloyd first round but switched vote to Tim Henman here... perhaps I shouldn't have done as one more vote would have got him into the SF and would quite like to have seen him there I must admit!
