Approaching just 24 hours left to go almost half way in the poll final. Not much activity this pm, we are still on 17 votes.
I estimate from the first two rounds that there are maybe 10-12 potential voters out there biding their time and looking at the spread so far , these 10 to 12 voters will make all the difference!
Don't leave it to late to make that difference, British tennis players are depending on your vote!!!
We are about half way now. 18 votes in. We had about 20 at this stage in the semis and ended with around 27 or so, so hopefully another 8 or so votes could come in. It's on a knife edge folks!
Just voted for Dan....I just like the way he plays tennis, highly entertaining, lot of variety. Also shows you can achieve in men's tennis if significantly less than 6ft (probably just shorter than me, that is). I also admire the way he has come back, just seems to appreciate his chance and be making the most of it. Could easily have voted for Andy, his achievements obvious and also the way he has had to push himself to get better and better to win gs in the era he has played in....but I just like the way Dan plays!

Thanks for voting Spireman, and for the explanation. I'm on your side i have to say.
Very tough decision for me. Love, love, love watching Dan play. Andy's achievements have been monumental and provided some of my most memorable tennis moments, as well as all the associated traumas of course! I plumped for Andy in the end.

Interesting and a potentially vital choice.
Nothing much I would disagree with there re Dan, though he has clearly had some rather less admirable times. But he can't be my favorite while Andy is still around, and one or two more to be honest.
From the young rather different to the norm Scot, wandering onto court with his headphones to his battles for that breakthrough Slam, while so often looking out for and helping others, and also so often seeing the bigger picture than many of the, particularly male, top players.
