I would agree that Dan is a very deserving choice, and his story around overcoming adversity twice to get where he is currently is a great story - but of course much of what he has battled throughout his life are his own demons, even if in mitigation there are plenty of class dimensions to his story. So very compelling - but I also still wish he'd behave better on court and sometimes towards others. So I like Dan, and enjoy watching him, but he won't get my vote. Even so, that still leaves me a short list of 5-6 to wade through...
Had to go with Kedders, having had the privilege of following his progress since before he had his first ranking point.
Edit
Bored stiff in lock down and just looking back at some of Kyle's old matches. Is it really over 8 years since I saw him thrash Mark Vervoort in Q2 of Murcia futures. Even now I can still hear Vervoort swearing out loud as Kyle smashed those forehands past him during a 1st set bagel. Kyle had just turned 17.
Vervoort - "Does this kid never ******* miss"
Happy days.

We are about at quarter way time wise in the vote, 14 votes in and 8 players have received votes. Very close and anyone can win this. Currently , dan leads on 4, andy 3 , kyle 2 and then 5 players on 1 vote each - jo, heather, beth, emily and emma.
Our doubles fans are yet to put their weight behind jamie and joe!
Mandy, harriet and Sam (our march player of the month) waiting to get off the mark also.
