Great win for Tom, he's now got the opportunity to get revenge of Kilschhofer. Incidentally, before this satellite Kilschhofer's form hadn't been particularly good, he'd just played a couple of clay-court futures in Switzerland, losing in the early rounds.
Tom is also in the doubles partnering American Adam Fass. They beat Turkish wildcards 4-6, 7-6[5], 6-1 in rd1. In the quarters they face 4th seeds Nijaki [Pol] and Jochen Schoettler [Ger].
Hopefully Tom can avoid Kilschoffer's half of the draw for next week's masters. There will be double points available so it'll be a big chance for Tom to make a large ranking leap if he does well.
