Jodie and Katy are travelling, so look out for them in the draws

Tara ( & Emina Bektas ) have not too surprisingly withdrawn from the Thailand 25K.

Still in the Guadeloupe doubles this week, they are on the alts list for the Midland, Michigan 100K singles in week 5, so not popping over to Thailand in between.

Edited since MI is the state of Michigan rather than the state of Miami  disbelief

Is wardy really heading from France to Newport beach this weekend? Who chose that schedule? Quimper would surely have been a better choice?

Emily and Katie Morton are entered in Tunisia, and both should be in qualifying (currently Q22 and A1)
Graziella Barrett is entered for Spain (Q36)

Don't know what plans he has for after Newport Beach but I would assume that it is not a random choice.

You've generally got to cross the pond at some stages as your tournament focus shifts and don't necessarily want to take a week off.

Reaching the Rennes final may compromise his plans on this occasion. Though I am sure he'll take that.

Looks like Emily W-S (+ Sofia) and Beth Grey are in France for the doubles at the W60 - too far down the alt list I think to make qualifying (A15 and A27)

Edit: - Emily did make it into qualifying, but Beth didn't.

With their current singles rankings it would be difficult to get into a W25 disbelief Still no sign of Olivia confuse

Heather has withdrawn from Newport Beach, not surprisingly really. I'm sure she'd like to rest this week.

Well done to two of our lower ranked players who've both just got easy wins over top-500 players !

C'mon down, Luke Johnson and Stuart Parker

(Also, with Stuart getting the win in singles, and Scott Clayton a win in doubles about 10 mins later, I guess it's not often that the Channel Islands mark up two pro tennis victories, so close together).
