Captain is allowed to select whoever he likes in doubles from the squad available. Surely you'd rather they selected the best possible team available to ensure matches are more competitive?

 I'd assume as with DC that the captain selects from his 5man squad for any sing or dubs game. This has to be the way to select around injuries, form and tactical match up etc.

Ruddy well done Evo! Had almost written off as you say Emmsie69 against Belgian No.1. Watched it back on Amazon replay and wow, he really played some great tennis. Against the less powerful players, Dan can compete and I should have known better.
