Is it not either week 53 or week 1 ?

I'd have thought week 53 since the ATP and WTA tours don't start until the following week.

Its actually week 53 but as there are no events the previous week I made it week 52 hoping no clever dick would notice!

For week 30/12/19 - 05/01/20, several of our top players are playing the British Tour event at Loughborough.

The men's draw is particularly strong, with three top-1000 ATP ranked players.

The top two seeds are Aidan McHugh and Luke Johnson.

Alexis Canter, Sean Hodkin and Dan Little are all ATP ranked too

And there's some very interesting youngsters, such as Toby Samuel, Billy Blaydes, Yujiro Onuma ....

In the women's, the draw is not as strong, but the top two seeds are Holly Hutchinson and Amelia Rajecki.

There's also Grace Piper (U18 national champion), Holly Staff, Nadia Rawson (last week's winner), Marni Banks, Kim Mpukusa, as well as 15 year-old Sofia Johnson, who's an interesting talent.

Just a little shout-out for Frenchie, Stéphane Robert, our surfer dude fave, who used to rather camp out in the UK and mop up 'our' players.

Nothing mega but he made the semi-finals of the event in New Zealand this week - age 39 and still going strong.....
