Naiktha Bains, Katie Boulter, Emily Webley-Smith and I assume Emma Raducanu should be in the main draw. Emma was No. 1 on the Q list.

Emily W-S is second seed in the doubles, playing with Rutuja Bhosale

And Freya is 4th seed, with Val Strakhova

Looking at the draw I think Emma and Katie would play each other if they win their first round matches.

And even further ahead, Freya in the quarter finals, if she can get past a qualifier and probably the #4 seed.

Good draw for Naiktha - 3 qualifiers in her section.

My first thoughts were a decent enough early draw overall, but a tough opener for Emma as I remember the Greek girl surprising Jodie when she she was on her pre Surbiton hot streak and she was ranked in the late 400s at the time (April/May), so she has done very well to knock off 200+ places in just over 6 months. However, I've just seen that she has lost 9 of her last 10 matches. mostly to much lower ranked players:

www.tennisabstract.com/cgi-bin/wplayer.cgi

The most recent defeat isn't included in that list, and while triangular theories don't often work, that was to Lara Salden who Emma beat in Belarus just the other week. I suspect Emma will probably start as a narrow favourite considering current form.

Very nice to see 5 GB players in an overseas draw. Hopefully there are some streams.

Emily' opponent could be a bit of a challenge as well.
