QR1: Federico Delbonis (ARG) WR 76 (CH 33 in 2016) vs (q9) Cameron Norrie WR 58 (CH 41 earlier this year)

They have met in Masters qualifying before, in Rome 2018 where Delbonis only lost 2 games. Let's hope for a far better outcome for Cam this time around.

Now that qualifying has started, presumably dan is definitely out? Ie any main draw withdrawals are replaced by lucky losers from qualies?

With cuevas moving into main draw, cam is top player in his selection now and plays carballes-baena or gerasimov in the fqr. Hes a set up , 6-3 v delbonis.

If Cam manages to qualify and get to the quarters he will end the year as GB number 1. Unlikely but the carrot is there.

If Kyle gets to the final, he will finish GB Nº 1 wink

If his regular luck with draws continues then that may happen

I see that Krajicek turned to Maximo Gonzales to get into the draw, presumably Dom was too lowly ranked. Shame. Presume that is season over for Dom.

Also a shame re draw above, joe and rajeev have a tough draw and could have done with the one Jamie and Neal have in round one. I  do however think they will win first match in Paris and be effectively safe.

I see Herbert and Mahut are confirmed as 5th qualifiers to O2
