Week 42 - ATP 250 - Intrum Open - Stockholm, Sweden (hard)

Brilliant !! Does anyone know what happened with the second set wobble ?
And incidentally a really nice thing to say he still considered Andy No 1.

I watched the whole thing, but while also doing emails, so maybe a bit hit and miss.

But from what I saw, no major drama about the wobble. There were a couple of breaks of serve. A few mistakes from both. And a really tight bit at 2-1. Which finally Tomic won. And that gave him the momentum, and Dan tried hard at first, but then gave up the set at the end, focusing on the next one.

Yes , I thought he let the 2nd go in the end. Tomic showed some flashes of his brilliance in the second but you always knew he was unlikely to maintain that level, which he couldnt.

Dan had some disagreement with the umpire also but I cant remember if that was 1st or 2nd set. Probably 2nd.

Luke & Ben could be doing with some wins but that's a tough looking draw.

They are struggling as a pair.

Cant see Dan ever making top 30 slicing most of his backhands, its not like he has weapons on his forehand and serve like Berrettini another slicer.
3-5 down final set after serving 40-15 3-4
