Not sure how long Paul Jubb will stay in the top 500. I assume he is back in college in January.
Possibly rather long, he has nothing to defend until June.
Clearly will be borderline, at least until he can and does add points.
It is interesting but different comparing Paul and Cam our two most successful College players of all time. Paul is not quite in the position Cam was when he went into his final (but as a junior) season as a college tennis player. But they started in very different places like about 400 in terms of junior ITF rankings.
Cam didnt really bother at all with singles tennis in his final terms at college (or ITF/ATP rank, he had already bad some challenger success) But he was really busting wanting to win or do as well as possible for TCU in the team event, Paul may well do the same. Coach and team pay back almost. Binning the singles and doubles NCAA tournaments for a real crack at next seasons grass court opportunities. Different games and favourite surfaces but worked well for Cam (who was a closet champion dirt baller)
Yes, a projected five place (or more) drop for Dan. He has quite a few points dropping off on the next month, so will need a good run at Indian Wells and Miami
Amazing to think Kyle could be back as GB number 1 this year without beating a top 50 player, meanwhile Dan has won numerous tough matches against quality opponents. Would be good to have two players seeded by French Open time, must be some time since that has happened.
