Good to see Kyle moving back up the rankings - 9 places.
Seriously though, I do find it strange that a player who hasn't played for almost 18 months is still in the Top 250 rankings.
Got to love it. With no rankings update last week in 2021 ( it was the mid point of the 2021 Aus Open:) we effectively have 2 weeks of 2021 points ( including AO 2021 ) and a week of 2020 points coming off. So those whose points didn't change were liable for a nice wee rise up the rankings.
And Kyle didn't need to worry about 2021 points coming off since he hasn't played since 2020 and his points are all from 2019 and 2020 and still count lol. He will though fall again next week with 90 Acapulco 2020 points dropping.
We should get there by the end of the year but some huge anomalies in the meantime as points are taken off out of order.
Glasgow points go on this week. So a big jump for Alastair, as well as others. And Jack's Challenger points means he's now into the top-150. And Aidan breaks into the top 300
Meaning it's an very good showing by our Next Gen group. Lots of CHs.
And Alastair into the top 400 - huge jumps from him in recent months AND Stuart is back in the top 500

Looking ahead 5 weeks, Joe is poised to move to number one. The two above lose lots of points and it looks like in 5 weeks Joe will have 600 point cushion! In fact he could go top after Miami if he outperforms Mektic and Pavic there. They of course won Miami and Monte Carlo past year I believe. Dan will lose most of his points also from those events and free fall down to nearly 200, and neal and Ken also could drop a lot
