A little bounce back up for Jay, and another new CH for Ryan P are the two main bits of news in the top 300.

Outside, Billy and Alastair are now within spitting distance of the top 500

29/10/21

Top 500 and main upward movers

12 (=) Cameron Norrie (CH)
25 (=) Dan Evans

123 (=) Kyle Edmund
128 (=) Liam Broady
134 (=) Andy Murray
213 (+18) Jay Clarke
259 (=) Jack Draper (age 19)

514 (+33) Billy Harris (CH)
527 (+4) Alastair Gray (CH)

I had high hopes both could make it this season but the cancellation of the South African events will probably stop Alastair making it.

Just brilliant to see all these career highs. And with Billy Harris's one to come next week, it's all very encouraging.

With last week's points now appearing on Live Rankings, Billy is at 481 and Stuart Parker very close to Top 500 at 505.

The BIG news obviously is that Billy is now in the top 500
483 and counting (with more points coming on next week)
A great achievement in itself after all the work and no reason for it to stop there.

No other good news in the top 500.
But Stuart is now hovering on the edge.
And the others continue their press, with decent moves from Felix, Arthur, Charlie...

13/12/21

Top 500 and main upward movers

12 (=) Cameron Norrie (CH)
25 (=) Dan Evans

121 (=) Kyle Edmund
128 (=) Liam Broady

264 (-3) Jack Draper (age 19)
267 (-3) Ryan Peniston (CH)
339 (-4) Aidan McHugh (age 21)
345 (-6) Paul Jubb

393 (-6) James Ward
466 (-36) Anton Matusevich (age 20)
483 (+35) Billy Harris (CH)

507 (+33) Stuart Parker (CH)
601 (+13) Felix Gill (age 19) (CH)
656 (+2) Jack Pinnington Jones (age 18) (CH)
693 (+83) Charlie Broom (CH)
701 (+30) Arthur Féry (age 19)
888 (+18) Jonathan Gray
950 (+47) Harry Wendelken (age 19) (CH)

(Clay Crawford and Marcus Walters have both gone up 104 places but not from playing).

I've no idea if this is a red herring but Luc Koenig (RSA) is now showing up in the junior listings as being GBR

He's a 2003-born lad from South Africa, no singles ranking but got a ATP doubles ranking and is 149 in juniors.

If he's now Brit, then welcome to the pack, Luc !

It looks like Luc is Robbie Koenig's son - isnt Robbie a TV commentator/analyses (and a good one at that) on Prime or the like

He might well be Uk based, Robbie, and so hence Luc's possible switch?

All his activity I've seen to date has been in South Africa so I don't think he's based here.

But lots of reasons to switch and, if he has, then great, the more the merrier

Probably switched to be based out of London/England, I'd imagine Robbie might be based similar for commentating. Far better for reaching ITF tournaments in Europe than being in SA. I guess if he is eligible to switch then he might be able to get LTA funding which might have been what has done it.
