A lot of little ticks up in the doubles (Joe +1 to 8, Neal +2 to 14, and so on, all the way down the 9 guys in the top 100)
Cam is +23 to 140, getting close to the top 100, to make it a round 10
Elsewhere, Charlie Broom is +139 at 1013
And welcome to George Millington (age 20) who gets an ATP dubs ranking for the first time, at 1993 (in only his first event and with a slight streak of luck, as they won their first round in the 25k by retirement, but who cares? )
Edit to my original below, so no longer aoplicable : The ATP have revised/sorted their rankings to now count 50% of Montreal 2019 rather than wipe it all. Kyle for instance has been revised to WR 102 on 801 points rather than WR 104 on 778 points.
I was expecting the 09/08 ATP rankings to have taken off 50% of the 2019 Montreal Masters points ( live-tennis and OER were working to the same assumption ), to be retained for a "better of" comparison with Toronto 2021, and players' "activity" shows it now counting as 50% of the original points.
But both for singles and doubles, in the actual new rankings Montreal 2019 has been wiped completely.
eg. Kyle scored 45 points, his "activity" now shows 23 points but it doesn't appear at all in his ranking breakdown and he has dropped 45 points. So he on 778 points rather than OER's projected 801 points ( live-tennis has adjusted in line with the apparently official ATP figures ).
The ATP have said they are moving back to 52 week rankings from this year's Cincinnatti on, so presumably from then on full 2019 and 2020 points will come off on their anniversaries, but re these Montreal points -

A new CH for Cam but only 2 guys in the top 100 now....
Welcome to the rankings to Giamcomo, though

Top 300 and main upward movers
27 (=) Dan Evans 28 (+1) Cameron Norrie (CH) 104 (-10) Kyle Edmund 105 (=) Andy Murray 146 (-3) Liam Broady 219 (=) Jay Clarke 258 (-1) Jack Draper (age 19)
414 (+2) Aidan McHugh (age 21) (CH)
1083 (+32) Julian Cash
1855 - NEW IN - Giacomo Revelli (age 19)
With the ATP having now sorted their slight Montreal 2019 botch-up, as per my previous post, Dan is now WR 26 (+1), Cam WR 29 (=) so no new CH, and Kyle WR 102 (-8).

Again, with the revised ATP rankings, Joe remains WR 9 rather than +1. Remainder seems to stand.
Assuming it doesn't get changed again (it makes some sense to wait a day or two, but then it seems like 'old news' - and, mind you, the ATP are nowhere near as bad as the ITF who change the juniors table about three times during the week - it's blinkin ridiculous)...
In the top 500 (only 14 of them, including a couple of interlopers) Aidan is the man of the week, breaking into the top 400, with a new CH Outside, Jack PJ (born 2003) moved up to a new CH at 936. And nice to see Luke Johnson (age 27) with a new CH too.

In doubles, it's Joe's week Into the top 5 at world number 4
Top 100 and major upward movers:
16/08/21
4 (+5) Joe Salisbury CH 15 (-1) Neal Skupski 22 (-1) Jamie Murray 56 (+4) Dan Evans 58 (-1) Luke Bambridge 61 (=) Ken Skupski 63 (=) Dom Inglot 76 (-1) Jonny O'Mara 91 (-1) Lloyd Glasspool
780(+52) Julian Cash 923 (+90) Charles Broom 1062 (+31) Josh Paris
Dom and Jonny seem to have a general downward trajectory currently, wonder how long Dom will keep going? Jonny seems to move around partners, I wonder if a stable partner is really what he needs.
With the news that Neal is pairing with Jack Sock in the next few weeks, I wonder if Ken will also bow out this season>
