Klein in as a LL and plays Neuchrist in last 32. That's a bit of stroke of luck getting a LL and then skipping the initial main draw round - let's hope he can take advantage of it.

L32: (LL) Brydan Klein WR 344 vs (ALT) Maximilian Neuchrist (AUT) WR 395 (CH = 244 in July last year)
Brydan takes the place of the local ninth seed, Vasek Pospisil (WC). If memory serves, Neuchrist was the player Brydan was due to play in QR1 before he was bumped up into the main draw.

But Brydan couldn't take advantage of it and lost 4-6 5-7
Add: and just to note that Hoang who, as said before, has a lovely game but has risen very fast and it not really consolidated at his ranking, was top seed but went out in a third-set tb to a wildcard Canadian lad.
