Court side on Naomis court right now, start due 11.30. Sodden between the courts where the water has been cleared but the courts themselves seem dry and in good nick. They were only mown and painted an hour ago. Overcast but dry and a bit clammy.

4-1 to 4-4 earlier, then 2-0 to 3-7 in the tie break. Drops the first set.

Huhu... Can we please have a player who can win a tight set, instead of always losing them when it comes to the crunch?

I know most of our men and women players in qualies are at ranking disadvantages but still...

Yes, she was 0-40 down when I looked, then was interrupted. See she has won her next service game quite comfortably, with less pressure on her, to get into the TB... which no doubt she won't win.

Yes serve for it and quickly broken to 15, serving to get into tiebreaker holds to love in seconds.

But out in two tiebreakers and she'll be feel parts of that slipped away. That was an opportunity.
