That was a very entertaining match , andy played v well,v sharp second set, and Lopez was an excellent partner. That look when andy played a reflex drive volley backhand winner!

Be amazed if Andy plays tomorrow if FAA has played twice before and gets through to play andy and lopez. Love to see andy play Dan.

I wonder if FAA will give a w/o? The schedule is behind as it is. Dan/Andy would be fun. Feli is playing twice tomorrow also. But otherwise you have the QF and SF on Sat.

I put this in the Andy thread too but Andy will play Wimbledon doubles with Pierre-Hughes Herbert. Bit of a shame for Mahut though.

Andy wants to play mixed at Wimbledon but "he has been rejected by several women so far whom he asked to play with"

Oh please , former world No 1 and you don't fancy your chances ?

Konta didn't seem keen when she was asked by media.

Loved watching that - Andy didn't seem to have any fear about his repaired body, moved well in all directions. Amazing comeback, so excited for him and his followers. Well done to his team, especially the surgeon. Hope he isn't too stiff tomorrow.

Amazed heather or laura wouldn't want to play with him...

Heather is with Henri. Laura isn't fit at all.

Ash Barty turned him down. He has been asking singles players who don't want to play all 3 events (as many of.them play doubles anyway)

Edit: Jo prob wants to do well in singles and maybe doesn't want the hype of singles and mixed

Re FAA, if he withdrew tomorrow could draper and Norris still get a lucky loser spot if they're still around? Assuming the other pair, verdasco and cecchinato arent around of course, but they may well be.

Frankly Jo might benefit with something outside of her 'process'.

Many singles players enjoy the chance to be a pairing and remember it's fun to play.

Particularly with Tokyo Olympics only 12 months away . 7 years since london as well, wow.

I don't disagree but Jo has to make the best choices for her career. Also, she played dismally with Jamie in Rio. That was painful to watch. There would be a lot of hype for GB players at home to do well when they are as well known as Jo and Andy.
