This tournament is hard indoor. Alicia Robinson was also on the acceptance list, but did not turn up. The field was very limited and all those who pitched up for qualifying have gone straight through into the MD.

I think it's quite rainy in Caribbean right now so perhaps that dictated indoor

Is Alice top seed????

no wta ranked players on acceptance list at all. 2 out of the 5 on qualifying list had a national ranking.

The top seed is making heavy weather of this match, but seems to be pulling through.

Alice's QF match should be somewhat easier than today's match up.

Yes, just their ITF rankings making one the top seed and the other a non seed.
