Emilie Lindh is still on the MD acceptance list... it would be wonderful to see her back if she does indeed play. She has been injured for several months. Tanysha Dissanayake should also be in the MD, if here, as she was second on the qual list.

All three are indeed in the MD. Emilie is seeded 8th. Good to see her back!

Strange scheduling here, where they've scheduled all women's R32 matches today except Emilie's.

Tanysha lost 2-6 2-6 which is disappointing. cry

Amelia actually won a singles match and is scoring ITF points - will be up to 15 - although she seems to have joined the injured list cry

Why? She was playing a former top 100 player

On the one hand, all credit to Tig starting out again at the bottom and earning her way back up.
But conversely, the sooner she is graduates back above vulturing at this level and indefatigably running in to and thrashing our poor hopefuls, the better.

Emilie + Amber Washington, whom she beat earlier in the day in the singles, played together in the doubles and won their first round match against an Argentinian pair 6-4 2-6 10-6
