Beth should be in the main draw, having been top of the qualifying list.
And Sofia should be in as well, meaning that Em and Sofia are on for another doubles run.

Emily Morton got in, but Katie just missed out.

That would be good - they've done well in Obidos before.

Mandy's draw is the worst here, as she potentially has Noel, the q1 seed in the FQR. She needs to win two matches to get her WTA ranking back, which will certainly help her future entries. Emily WS is the q2 seed, so should get through, and Vic Allen's highest potential seeded opponent is the q6 seed, and it would be good to see her go through too, having just lost out last week.

Vic has taken the first set 6-2
The two Emilys follow on the same court

Vic Allen has won her match 6-2 6-1, all Gupta's games coming from breaks of Victoria's serve.

It seems only QR1 matches are being played here today. EWS vs Emily Morton next, and Mandy is also 4th up on an adjacent court.

Good stuff. Hope Vic can qualify rather again have 'just' the 25K QR1 win which the WTA/ITF continue not to recognise exists for any ranking purposes.

Em threw away her bagel with three DF. So just 6-1

Too many DF from both girls - 9 from each. But EWS bets Emily by 1 & 1.

Mandy is warming up now. The match before her on court 3 hasn't finished yet, so she must have switched to court 2, where the two Emily's were last up on the OOP today.

Mandy served for the first set at *5-3 and was broken. Two breaks apiece now first set. 5-5

Always plenty of breaks in Mandy's matches. 7-5 and *0-0

Yes, she was *5-5 15-40 down, then actually won 6 pts in a row to overturn those BPs and go 0-30 up in the 12th game.
