I see tomorrow is once again: Novak, Emma and Andy on centre court.

Its a hard one but it almost feels like they are saying putting these big names on court one cant happen. But court one is a big arena itself and certainly historically the top names have always had some play away from centre court. I dont think its any hardship to play on court one. I remember seeing players like Lendl on court three , Becker on court two, Graf out on court 14 i think it was.

Personally Id have put one of them on another court tomorrow.

Looks the right choice to me from the scheduled matches.

I would think if these 3 players continue on, with likely more enticing alternatives emerging from bigger clashes happening as the tournament progresses, then there will likely be some moves away from these 3.

In the first couple of rounds, before we get to seed vs seed matches, it seems reasonable to me to give the Centre Court crowd the names that they would in general be most looking out for.

Maybe its me but I see court one as pretty much equal to centre and deserving of almost as good a line up. So far it has been very much swayed to centre court. I always think that of 6 singles matches one of the top 3 should be on court one. Just my thoughts ! I also always used to think they put all the top players off the two main courts at some point - that was up to maybe the time of Sampras and Agassi. To ensure fairness to the players , not too reward centre court fans with all the best matches

Too many big names heading into retirement and the Next Gen not really creating much interest. When you think back a few years there were the 3 Men plus Murray and just behind them but no less entertaining: Tsonga, Del Potro, Monfils, Wawrinka. Then you have the Russians not here this year so that's Medvedev, Rublev etc, Berrettini withdrawn. On the womnes side no Ash, then previous winners like Muguruza have been a bit rubbish.  It's left a big vacuum and a struggle to find matches/players that will do Centre Ct justice.

And those are very good points! At least on the Rafa day now we will see some different names as , with Serena gone, hes the one big name left.

Anyone with tickets 10.15am seems a good time to arrive. Got here 10.45 Monday got in 11.20 (and I'm pretty sure I queue jumped inadvertently) got here today 10.15 walked straight in (plus they didn't check my ID not that it matters!)

What about queuing for a Ground Pass? I have arrived 6ish before and got in no problem. I noticed this year the gates all seemed empty about 1pm on Tuesday and I did not think the grounds as busy as usual. Can you stroll up late morning and get straight in or do they cut the queue off at a certain level?

Liam's quote re ranking points:

'I'd play Wimbledon for no points and no prize money,' he said.
'At least I get the prize money,' he added, smiling at the thought of £120,000 landing in his account.
'I might just withdraw it all and just like lie on it.

 Fab!

I was looking at the ranking points and there had been any, he would be back up to around 115 in the rankings. Whatever the arguments, the money and the confidence this will give him should give him that impetus to try and getting back to the top 100 and staying there.

In fact, Liam, Ryan, Jack D should all make it their objective to be firmly cemented in the top 100 by year end (Jack higher obviously) and Paul and Ali in the top 200. Ali is playing the ITF events in July/August and post those I would like to see him hit the challenger circuit hard (in fact I am not really sure why he is playing those grass ITF events now?) and push on a level like Paul has done.

Also, Liam's personality shone through - like Naomi, he has a career in the media ahead, i would suggest (if he wants it!)

Liam is such a likable guy, I've followed him since juniors so yesterday was particularly sweet. It's a far cry from a few years ago when many of this board predicted he'd retire by the end of that year!

120K is a lovely amount to re-invest into a top 100 charge :)

Guilty as charged and I would like other crimes of disrespect to our tennis players to be taken into account also, please!
