I was wondering where this thread was, as it is normally posted on the Thursday/Friday after initial entries, but if it has been purposely held back until the Wednesday after withdrawals then that's better as it'll save all the chopping and changing.

Interesting from a women's perspective. Plenty in action which is great, especially the likes of Freya making a 25k main draw despite being ranked in the 500s. Emma is quite interesting as I thought she was taking an extended break for her exams and Dart and Swan are notable absentees - they have both pulled out of ITF events recently, so I wonder if they have made it into WTA Rabat qualifiers? The WTA Prague Q list is out and there are not on there and the list passes both of their ranking, so it'll likely be Rabat or nothing.

I was just looking at the Spain W60 entry list for next week and noticed that Jodie was in the main draw, which I was pleased about, but that's helped largely by Katie B withdrawing. I can only assume that's some kind of Fed Cup related side effects. Real shame that because we're now into May (well, we will be by the time she's next on court) and she's literally played only 6 tour events in 2019 and only won 5 matches, whereas other players have already played up to 13 events in 2019. It was a really modest field as well for a 60k - Ponchet is now the 2nd seed and outside the top 200, so a great chance for points gone.

I'd say it'll be pretty borderline for her getting into Wimbledon directly now - she'll need a very good Monzon 25k tournament the week after, assuming she plays.

Cam is no longer playing Estoril cry

Will also drop down the doubles rankings after his points come off from winning the title last year with Kyle (I assume, Cam doesn't seem to play doubles much)

No sign of him in the main draw - ITF places taken by Shintaro Imai (JPN), Youssef Hossam (EGYP), Moez Echargui (TUN) & Rio Noguchi (JPN).

Annoushka Wooler should have been in qualifying in Cairo, and Freia Lawrence was in the very short alts list. Neither in the draw, and there are 15 byes. I suspect Mirabelle Njoze won't be in the qualifying draw in Tabarka either, having finally made it onto the list.
