It's a far weaker field than Sunderland despite the +H points benefits - although clearly a fair few in Sunderland are combining Bolton to make it more worthwhile. Lowest ranked direct main draw entrant is 539 and there's 5 of the 13 outside the top 400, whereas Jodie is last in Sunderland and would have been seeded here.

Katie's potential path is Q, Gervais (403) who is actually the highest ranked player Katie could have faced in R2 and then 6th seed Albie (317) in the QFs, there could be a surprise IR or Q, but that looks like a fairly manageable path to add a few more points and preserve her ranking.

Almost lost that with the deleted Indi thread, ha. Had to go back and it was still there.

Katie has 24 year old French qualifier Caroline Romeo in the first round. Don't know much about her, but ranked circa 702, so at that age, looks a good enough draw.

It was a very weak field, so hopefully she can finish the job in the 3rd as there was an opportunity for some decent points here. She usually does well against this sort of ranked opponent.
