Emma's the 2nd seed here. Today's qual rounds have been affected by rain, and at least one round will need to be postponed.
Emma's first round match could have been easier. Tahan had a WTA ranking end of last year very similar to Emma's but obviously with more W15 points given her high ITF ranking.
R32: Emma RADUCANU (GBR) [2] 588/102 vs Maya TAHAN (ISR) UNR/42 (CH:587 Dec 18)
Emma will play next a 15yr old qualifier who has just come through a three set match 6-1 in the third. It still should be an easier match than her first round.
R16: Emma RADUCANU (GBR) [2] 588/102 vs Sabrina KALANDAROV (ISR) [Q] UNR/UNR 15yrs (JCH:462 March 19)
Good win for Emma, and 5th seed up next, who is still only 22 but whose CH was 5+ years ago. This is just her 2nd tournament this year. Previous she lost first round of a W25.
R16: Emma RADUCANU (GBR) [2] 588/102 beat Sabrina KALANDAROV (ISR) [Q] UNR/UNR 15yrs (JCH:462 March 19) 6-1 6-3
QF: Emma RADUCANU (GBR) [2] 588/102 vs Marianna ZAKARLYUK (UKR) [5] 641 (CH:417 Dec 13)

Does this tourney get her WTA points or just ITF points? I'm well confused by the new points system.
ITF, but should come in handy in the future. She'll get a chance for WTA points in the next 2 weeks and this run should help her get into overseas 25k's later in the year. She tried to get in to 2 recent Japanese 25k events, but wasn't high enough, plus her current ITF ranking wasn't high enough to get her into the Bolton or Sunderland IR (ITF Reserved) spaces, do a boost yo that ranking won't harm at all
