ALthough he now gets the second seed in the MD....

He's got a doubles wc place too, and his pair play another wc pair.

That first set was terribly touch and go.

So pleased to see Ryan come through comfortably in the end.

He's had three or four very close first round losses in the last few tournaments, hope this gets his momentum going again.

He'll play a 2001-born junior next, either a wildcard French kid, or an Italian ranked about JWR 40, who's there in the JR slot.

Although I expect the French kid barely plays juniors; so many of them don't....
