Not sure how relevant that earlier win was. Pieri is only 19 and had a JCH=31. She is probably just as under-ranked as Amanda.

Well she hasn't pulled up any trees lately. Her best W15 result this year has been only to reach one QF. I would back Mandy to win if she serves half decently. Mandy's losses recently have mainly come from ineffective serving.

Plays qualifier Emeline Dartron (18) in the final. She beat another 18 year old to get there, 4th seed Molinaro who was an excellent junior and was a strong betting favourite to come through here, and beat Amanda last week of course.

Don't know much about Darton but she did reach a semi final last week. Perhaps CD knows more?
