Wasn't expecting much change out of this one, given the opponents ITF rank, but was wondering what Amelia's situation is? Does she have a job or just a rich family supporting her because she's 24 now and seems to lose the vast majority of matches, often wide, and surely can't be making much money from the odd 15k Q win every now and then.
Hopefully another productive week for Emily to build on last weeks showing.

Her Instagram bio is Model Athlete Tennis Player (in that order) but I don't know if "model" is the same as her tennis. Beautiful woman, if you like that sort of thing (I prefer those like Jo myself).

Thanks. Wasn't really aware of her but also did notice the order of placement on her profile. I suppose from her POV, if she can make good/decent money from that, travel the world and get to see the likes of Australia, Thailand, Mexico while playing a bit of sport at the same time, it'll be a good experience for as long as it lasts.
As for Emily, what a grim draw. I suppose from (assuming she does lose), she did have a good week last week and it's not as if she has flown from Cancun to somewhere like South Korea to meet the same opponent, I assume it'll be exactly the same venue and courts as last week.
Tough ask given how it went last week, but ultimately if Emily wants to progress to 25K level and above shell need to beat tougher customers than Brouleau.

Amelia did her degree at Bath University and played on their tennis team. Presumably having graduated she is having a crack at seeing where her tennis takes her. I guess this explains why she is a relatively late starter.
Emily has dropped the first set 4-6, one break to two. A couple of long games and only 3 or 4 points difference, but obviously enough for the opponent to take the first set.
