One girl, listed as 102 on the alternate list, has made it into the Q draw (as an ALT, not a wildcard)

Presumably a last minute no-show/withdrawal and she was the only woman around ????

This is going to be a short thread unless Anna makes it into the doubles. Anna had early leads and was up 4-2 in the first set before losing the next four games and that was that.

Well yes Anna is in the doubles so the thread will continue you a little longer. She and Angelica Moratelli (ITA) are the 4th seeds and have a bye into the QF.

Well, in just their second match this week Anna P and Anjelica Moratelli have managed to come back from a 1-6 first set loss to beat the Morderger twins 1-6 6-4 10-2

If they win their third match against the French pair who knocked out the 2nd seeds today, then Anna will be the first British adult woman to win a title this year! On paper it looks good, but the French girls are aged 16 and 18 respectively and obviously have talent. But a good opportunity for Anna to make her mark on the season smile
