I have zero idea now, but a QR1 win gives Sasha an ITF point, yes? But it's not a third counter because it's not a WTA point?

Anyway, she won !

QR1: POPESCU, Anna (GBR) (q9) UNR/582 lost to SANZ-LLANEZA FERNANDEZ, Almudena (ESP) UNR/754 CH=1082/754 6/3/17 3-6 2-6

QR1: HILL, Sasha (GBR) (q4) UNR/431 [17yo JCH=377] def. AUBUCHON, Micheline (USA) UNR/788 CH=UNR/788 6-2 4-6 10-6

CD, it's not a counter for WTA rankings, but it is for ITF ranking. You only need one point for an ITF ranking. No WTA points for W15 tournaments.

Edit: - Sasha already has two ITF counters, 60 points from Dublin, and 1 point from Sharm in October.

Tx. That's sort of what I meant - it's not a WTA point therefore it can't be a third counter. It's 'just' an ITF point. And, as you say, her previous WTA counters have been downgraded anyway.
Because you do still need three actual WTA counters, don't you? I remember there being discussion about it and can't remember what people said in the end.
However, a point's a point, I guess (although some points are more equal than others)

Yes, three WTA counters needed for a WTA ranking, but just one ITF counter for an ITF ranking. With a big wall between the W25 and W15 tournaments !

So quite right Sasha can't get WTA points- until in (assuming can get in ) the W25k - so W15k only offer ITF points as follows; Q2 1 QFR 2 R16 4 Q 12 semis 30 Finalist 60 Winner 100 - not sure how these then adjust the ITF World ranking overall- guess seeing it will make it clearer :)
However if we could have afforded to keep her in the Juniors she could get one of the reserved places (5) open for top 100 Juniors into main draw straight off.

Nice to hear from you, Mama Hill

I see that Sasha won the first set in her next match 6-2 but was 4-5 down in the second when the match seems to have been suspended till tomorrow.

Best of luck, Sasha !

Yes, always nice to hear from parents of those involved - all feedback is greatly appreciated.
I see that the resumption was scheduled for 9am, but live scores says not before 12, so I presume the weather still isn't good there.

Doubles

L16:- Lou ADLER (FRA) Lou BROULEAU (FRA) 1425 (193+1232) v Sasha HILL (GBR) Anna POPESCU (GBR) 894 (847+47)

(ITF rankings - only Lou Adler and Anna have WTA rankings)

Yeah Trump would be proud of it. It remains to be seen how many of our players manage to scale it this year, and if so, what routeways they will use to get there. They will still have to get the three counters to get a WTA ranking, and now 3 counters at W25 level, so much, much, much harder to get on the bottom of that ladder, especially as that means getting into 3 W25 tournaments, AND winning not just a QR1 match, since that has no points, but an FQR match. Just looks at the moment it will be incredibly hard to do.

Well done, Sasha !

Manon used to be WTA ranked about 800, and is only 24, she's a decent-ish player.

Yes live scoring I'm told for main draw only from noon.

All play suspended yesterday hail stone rain all day.

Seems will be almost impossible to get into the W25s. blankstare
