This must have slipped through, but Tara lost 4-6 5-7.

Of interest here for the few following doubles, is that Sam Murray has made it here, even though not involved in the singles.

Tara is playing with Caroline Werner (GER) in the doubles, first up against an unseeded pair, whilst Sam is playing with Emma Laine (FIN) and they take on the 3rd seeds.

Both their doubles matches will be scheduled on Wed.

Very interesting, Sam turning doubles specialist perhaps. Emma Laine is a veteran of doubles at this level, had a very succesful partnership with Mel South back in the day.

Yes, so I see - Emma seems rather like a Finnish EWS, and even looks a bit like her too! Our Emily is 34 now though, whilst Emma is 32.
