Looks a very comfortable set, sealed with 2 aces at 30-30. 6-1.

Quite surprised given how close they currently are in the rankings and the reasonably close 4/7 vs 5/4 pre match odds.

Second set seems a lot closer, no breaks of serve yet and 3 consecutive holds to love, 2 for the Italian. *3-4.

 Gatto-Monticone is 31 but achieved her CH only in Oct last year, which suggests she is on a late career surge. Gabi could do with an improved serving performance on today.
