Looking further admit, maybe a mistake, Eden potentially has the 2nd seed in her way in the FQR, SBG has the 7th seed. but SBGs first round looks pretty much 50/50.

Any brits likely to be in the MD?

This was the start of good things for Gabby and Katie Dunne last year

Katy is entered and should be seeded - she's sixth on the entry list.

Beth is 4-6 *4-4
Eden will be on in about 40 mins to an hour if the preceding match is straight sets.

Q1: GREY, Sarah Beth (GBR) 11 458 LOST TO MARFUTINA, Maria (RUS) 541 4-6 (4)6-7
One break in the first set, three each in the second, and just one mini-break in the tie-break. Small margins cry

Eden is a set up, but a break down.

I see Katy Dunne is 7th seed here and plays 23 year old Ukrainian Strakhova first who is also not in the best of form having lost her last 5 matches. She's currently just inside the top 300.

Also Katy is playing doubles with Beth and they are seeded 2.

Q2: SILVA, Eden (GBR) 13 474 lost to GERLACH, Katharina (GER) 2 350 2-6 2-6

R1: DUNNE, Katy (GBR) 7 249 v STRAKHOVA, Valeriya (UKR) 291 CH=231 1/2/16
H2H 0-1 Ponta Delgada 2014 Strakhova 6-4 2-6 1-6

Not the draw one would hope for having been seeded. The ITF page has Katy losing all three sets in 2014. This is the correct score.

Rankings updated to 26/11/18.

I don't think Katy can have too many issues with that draw to be honest. Yes, she could have got a Q or a WC, but there's a fair few unseeded players in the draw ranked above Strakhova and the likes of Kawa and Marcinkevica have since climbed above her in the rankings.

In her last 5 matches, Valeriya has lost all 5 to #476, #447, #369, #703 and #413 - those are actually their current rankings, I've not checked what they were when they met, but either way, she's not exactly coming into this in great form (although neither is Katy). Think I'd prefer to play her than a qualifier like Bolkvadze and I don't think we can take too much from one match that happened more than 4 and a half years ago.
