Interesting. Luke actually talked about Sandgren in his chat with Mike Cation earlier this year and came over as much more understanding about tweets etc than many others and not condemnatory.

I am sorry I cant take Sandgren seriously following the Snickers and PJ Cola incident. A day of contradictions, an occasion when you could see internal combustion, I could feel his pain but not suppress a smile.

Of course there are lots of people in the US who share Trumps vision particularly in Texas, including many who play tennis, the unfortunate consequence is that Trump is president.

A number of intellectuals are very stupid in the views they hold and express, James Watson a very keen tennis player but more famous for co-discovering DNA with a few Brits and much more, historically loads of very clever ideas but he got metaphorically kicked out of the UK when trying to promote a book because of stupid (frankly racist) extrapolation of its content. Perhaps Sandgren talks a lot of sense around tennis?

They had their chances in the MTB, leading by a point or two until it got to 8-8... cry
