Another pairing mix up for the brits. Maybe if Joe and Neal play more this could be another option?

thanks Goldfish - that is interesting and probably not a surprise. Hope Joe can find a solid partner as well to further his aims on the tour

I have a gut feeling Joe will team up with Jamie at some point...

do you think so, that would be interesting...I have never been sure Bruno and Jamie has delivered but they are still top 4 or 5 pairs. But with Bruno having kids now and being a little older perhaps he wont go on the travellator for much longer. Do Jamie and Joe have a relationship that anyone is aware of?

Yes interesting. I would imagine at some point though Ken may become clearly the weaker partner. So at that point one would think it maybe a case of fly free, young bro, find a new regular partner to be all you can be.

Though top doubles players can retain their abilities of match craft and anticipation, built on experience, well past Ken's current age of 35.

We shall see in time.

Good to see Ken and Jonny get the win; Jonny has a 44-22 record (66.67%) on the year, $80k prizemoney - that is across challengers and main tour.

For information/interest the top 100 GB players stack up:

Jonny O'Mara 44-22 66.67% $80k prizemoney - reflecting that he hasnt really played much yet on the main tour Now 45-22 after today and could improve to 48-22 this week

Luke Bambridge 63-24 72.41% $99k prizemoney - 87 matches played, must be one of the highest, 100 by year end?

Ken Skupski 39-21 65% $114k prizemoney - spent a chunk of time off this year but still played 60 matches and made decent money. Now 40-21 today and could improve to 43-21 this week

Neal Skupski 52-24 68.42% $248k prizemoney - career year and good to see his earnings so high!

Joe Salisbury 56-24 70% $243k prizemoney - another career year (lets face it most of them have had!)

Dom Inglot 37-22 62.71% $354k prizemoney

Jamie Murray 38-19 66.67% $706k prizemoney (who says doubles doesnt pay??!)

Interesting, thanks.

While no doubt not players' first choice of tennis discipline one can see a big reason there for some players effectively giving up on singles to become doubles specialists. $$$ compared to what they were likely to earn in singles, plus mixing in bigger tournaments.

 I very much doubt it.

Joe came via the university route and then made his way through futures and challengers to ATP this year, so the only times they would come into contact is at ATP, GS or a Louis Cayer training camp
